Is My Website Ready? This is a common question we are asked, so we wanted to outline what is needed for Keller Williams International and Placester to provision your awesome new site. What you need... You need to be a Keller Williams Agent. This may sound a bit silly, but in order to get the ball rolling we need all your New Agent paperwork to be completed and entered into our system.
Then what... After completing the steps above it typically will take about 3-4 business days for KWRI to provide Placester the information needed to prepare your site. At that point you likely will see a pop-up message upon logging in at mykw.kw.com alerting you that your site is ready. Log In. You'll use the TECHNOLOGY drop down menu to select KW Websites from the list. If your site is ready you'll see the 'Go To My Website' button. If your site is not available within a week of completing steps 1-3 you'll want to contact support@kw.com and support-kw@placester.com to resolve the issue. After that...
Lastly... Now we wait. Generally after your application has been submitted to the MLS for review the approval process can be as little as 1 or up to 10 business days. You should receive a confirmation email at your @kw.com email address alerting you of the approval, BUT you will need to manually select your MLS Board as your IDX solution of choice and customize the filters for your 'Featured Listings' on your home page.
You did it! Now you can work on beefing up your content and further customizing your site by creating pages, blog articles and more. Be sure to check our Placester's site for helpful how-to information. Our change to from the Rapattoni system to the all new FLEX MLS is rapidly approaching in late November. Some of our staff received a sneak peek at the new platform and were pleasantly impressed at the ease of use and host of new features; some of which included quick searches using natural language, fully customizable dashboard with your favorite searches at a glance, and quick and clear listing entry. We are genuinely excited for the changes that lie ahead.
Charles Darwin once stated "It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change." How true that is. We want all our agents to face this change confidently. Making full use of the webinars and training provided by FTB, the developers of FLEX, we feel you'll be able to ease any apprehension you may have and 'manage the change' with flying colors. Below you'll find the Roll-Out Schedule for FLEX as well as the link to the 'Getting Started' webinar.
